About John Ricci, Jr.
John Ricci, Jr. is a television and game show producer with more than 20 years of experience creating and producing television formats. He has worked on over 40 game shows across all the major U.S. broadcast networks, contributing to some of television's most recognizable shows, including The Price Is Right and Family Feud.
Production & Game Judging
His recent producing credits include ABC's The $100,000 Pyramid, hosted by Michael Strahan, and the syndicated 25 Words or Less, hosted by Meredith Vieira. On both shows, John served as a game judge, responsible for making critical, split-second decisions during gameplay. His experience spans game mechanics, rules interpretation, contestant play, production logistics, and the fast-moving demands of a television studio.
Format Creation & Development
Beyond producing established hits, John is an accomplished game show format creator, with concepts currently in development. He brings both a creative producer's perspective and a practical understanding of what makes a game entertaining, fair, and playable on camera.
Game Show Software Programming
John also develops custom game show software to support format development, run-throughs, and gameplay testing. His programs help producers experiment with rules and scoring, simulate game situations, and run realistic games for contestant and host training before production.
